What Is IPL?
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light, is based on emitting high intensity pulses of light (not lasers) to penetrate the skin and enhance your skin with no downtime.
Hailed as a “quick-fix” procedure, with no downtime to rejuvenate the skin and restore a youthful glow. This treatment is popular as a lunch time procedure. IPL has collagen inducing properties, thereby reducing fine lines, minimizing pores and reducing pigmentation, acne scars, and increasing skin elasticity. IPL also diminishes redness associated with Rosacea as it heals broken capillaries.
There are different wavelengths for different levels of penetration. Some IPLs are only effective for hair removal, whereas others are medical grade treatments capable of skin rejuvenation and reducing pigmentation.
The IPL used at La Clinic is of medical grade and hence suitable for facial rejuvenation. Skin looks brighter and more luminous as the skin is effectively healed and radiates from within.
