Without doing formal screening for our allergies, we are kept in the dark about what food we should avoid. Statistics reveal that a large number of people are gluten and lactose intolerant, unbeknownst to them. This means that, if we continue to ingest food we are allergic to, our immune systems are working in overdrive to compensate for combating these allergies.
